After the success of the fox footage on a new patch of land I have access to, I thought I would investigate what other wildlife is there. I knew there was something else rummaging around the hedge as I heard it when I was setting up for the fox that night. So this time, armed with peanuts and mealworms, I setup the bushnell trophy cam in the same position, pointing the other way to catch what was there. This is the exciting result :
I've set this up again in a similar spot, a few meters from this position and put some more bait down - I think I've found the sett, but won't know until the end of the week when I pick the camera up and go through the footage, so episode 2 will hopefully follow soon! Not to be outdone by his badger buddies though, my fox appeared again and enjoyed the peanuts too :
